Our Nurse Manager, Marsha joined JustNurses a year ago as our Registered Nurse Advisor to conduct nurse interviews, making sure they are suitable for the roles they are applying for.

Marsha is based in our Belfast office and as well as carrying out interviews, her responsibilities include administration and compliance.

Marsha previously worked as an Agency Nurse for JustNurses so knowing how credible she was within the profession we knew she would be a great asset to the team.

We thought we would ask Marsha a few questions to help you get to know a little more about her…

What do you enjoy most about working for JustNurses? Interviewing the nursing and HCA candidates when they come into the office, I love to meet them and match them to their ideal job.

What is your career motivation? The thought that as a nurse, I need to keep abreast with my Continual Professional Development and my superiors are in support of that (NMC Code).

What would you say is your strong point? I am self-motivated and very thorough in my work. I have good communication skills and keep the nurses informed every step of the process.

What is your most memorable moment within your role? Taking the Belfast office through our annual RQIA inspection and we passed with flying colours.

What has been your most challenging experience in your role? When I had to conduct 6 interviews all in one day whilst also juggling a number of administrative matters. It was a very stressful time, but I got it all done with a positive can-do attitude.

What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to take a chill pill and just relax in my spare time.

Candidate feedback…

“I am a nurse who has previously worked as an RQIA Inspector and I was very impressed by the recruitment process, it was very professional and the RQIA would be pleased to see those standards in operation.”
